Big question

Is time an actual thing or just in illusion?🤔
I went to the casino to look for my mom because I was tired and wanted to sleep. I looked around and there was no clock. I asked my aunt why there was no clock and she said;" so people won't know what time it is, and they will spend all their money and time playing.". This got me thinking that time is an illuison. This related to Great Gatsby and how he waiting such a long time for Daisy. It didn't matter to him, he spent all those years, letting time go by, and just for Daisy.
What am I going to do next?
Well, I will go on Amazon, look up "time for success" and read it

F451

In this book it shows how people go through things and it shows how people are really vernable. Not only does this book open up our eyes, but it shows how great a perseons mind can be. I think one of the reason we read this book is to show us that books can really effect us in many ways. The effect may not be this great affect but something is something. I choose to write about the diction and sintax the author uses in this book because some of the stuff he says really gave me a differnt perspective and really open my eye on what's really going on.
In the beginning of the book it shows a man that's a firefighter. His life doesn't seem complicated at all, just a man that is following the daily life that he has. He doesn't seem sad rather just calm and taking it as it comes. The book also talks about how firefighters are ones to start fires which is true now a days. Even maybe back then, which is weird because doesn't the government put all these people to work for us and help us out? Arnt we suppose to be putting things to flame not the people who are suppose to be putting it out? This is relatable because fire fighters need jobs and there isn't much fires to put out so they do it themselfs.
People now a days are very differnt from when this book was written, so how is this so relatable? "We are living in a time where flowers are trying to live in flowers, instead of growing on good rain and black loam." This really opened my eyes because I'd think because someone pointed it out, things will change yet it seems to worsen day by day. It means that shouldn't people be their individuals instead or trying to be like other and compete with them selfs ? This sucks because we have this image that society put infront of us and tell us what we're suppose to look like and get shamed for trying to be different. Yet, when someone does something differnt and does something differnt they either get shames or get people's attention yet they coppie and try so hard to be better than what it actually is. F451 just really opened My eyes and I hope that later in the future it all changes

Again

04/6/17
My sisters birthday.
Well, my favorite meal is popusas! They're like a Mexican stuffed tortilla with either beans, squash, or chicharron. On the side it has yuca & fried banana. The bananas are crispy on the outside and smooth and shquishy in the inside the yuka is crisp all around you but into it and you have instant flakes of like a crisp frie yet not so much.

No pen

I lost all my pens, so I can't do my journal because for some reason, Dr.Preston doesn't want it in pen. Not trying to sound like a smart ass, but I just wasn't here for half the first term and I don't have reasoning.
Journal 04/05/17
I think olympians cry because they accomplished something great. They are extremely proud of them selfs that it has led to tears. They look back at what they accomplished and a great sense of happyness gets to them. Not all crying has to be a sign of weakness, if that were the case everyone would be sad when they get married or something special happens to them. I think crying is just water that runs from your eyes, emotion from within is what defines your mood. It also depends how you take it. The Olympian might also be sad cause they accomplished something and don't have that one person there to make it a bit better. It's not all about appirance. Tears are just water.

Fahrenheit 451

i think this is a good book and the ideas are great! Him being able to tell the future is astonishing and I like it but he's extremely descriptive even more so to the point where I loose the point of what he's being descriptive of and I just end up being lost sometimes and I understand it but with troubles 🤔
